  • "- Gurudev is explaining verse 9 and 10 of Gopi Gita
  • Gurudev gives deeper meaning of this slokas. Gurudev is singing the sloka and devotee is reading the meaning and then Gurudev explains the sloka word by word and giving deeper meanings.
  • Gurudev explains that Krsna only goes cowherding to see the Gopis. In Vraja , Krsna makes all kinds of excuses to see the hopis. For example if he tells that he is going to take a bath in Yamuna, actually he doesn't take a bath. He goes there standing beneath a kadamba tree, just to see the gopis. When he plays the flute, it is just to attract the gopis. Sometimes he hides in a tree to see the gopis. He takes every opportunity just to see the gopis."
  • "Gurudev explains verse 11 of Gopi Gita "" catasi yad vrajac.......kanta gacchati"".
  • ""- Starts with speaker reading a section out of some text where the gopis are having some kind of internal conversation between their mind and heart about how Krishna makes them miserable; they worry about his lotus feet getting hurt by the harsh stones and thorns
  • Gurudev reiterates then when Krishna goes out to cowherd, his lotus feet are so soft, more than lotus. Gopis think some sticks or needles could hurt him and they became so agitated and restless
  • Then mind tells heart, oh silly girls, Krishna is smarter than to step on stones and thorns. He goes on soft sand, because he has eyes why will he go on thorns and all these things. Then again mind tells, if cows run here and there, the cows don’t know to only go on soft sand; they go on stones and so they will not run on the grass and go here and there and Krishna will have to follow the cows.
  • Then mind is telling, cows have no intelligence but Krishna has eyes. Why he will run on thorns and other things? Then mind tells, he will run after cows and at that time he will have no time to think whether stones are there or not. He will run and certainly he will come
  • Then mind tells, you should remain happy but I am feeling so much pain for Krishna so I (mind) am going out so you should die. I cannot tolerate. Krishna is certainly getting pain. You should be here and tolerate but I am going out of the body.
  • Gopis are telling, whether in samyog or yog, always you give us pain and suffering. When you go to cowherd in forest you go, we always feel separation and kalilata (sorrow). Kali means sorrow, not just quarrel. The cows are so many, so one cow goes here another goes there and Krishna has always to follow them and so that they should not go anywhere. To collect them, Krishna has to do so much effort. He has to go everywhere even if road is bad. He takes no rest. All day long running here and there. When we remember this, we feel such sorrow. In that time stones go to your lotus feet. So we cannot have patience.
  • In deep meaning, they are telling/explaining. Cows are pashu, animals, and have no wisdom or thinking power so they run here and there and go to difficult places. They don’t think Krishna will follow us and feel pain and go anywhere. But they are animal and have no vivek so they go here and there. When we remember this, Krishna has to go there and so many thorns will come.
  • They are going in your feet, but you feel nothing but they are going in our heart. This is love. Because you are our nath and kantha – means more than lover, most beloved. They are telling you are our kantha; we cannot leave these things.
  • If anyone is going anywhere and not returning in time, then beloved wife and anything they are always thinking, any calamity has come. But nothing, only some delay. Become so sorrowful.
  • So we are bound to do it. He is telling that if we have love for you. If that love was not in us, then anything could not have made us sorrowful. Only love makes us so sorrowful. Kalilata comes in our heart. If we had no love, then anything was not in our heart.
  • Then we pray you that you should cut off the asakti from our heart so we will not feel so much pain. Then Krishna may tell them that mind and heart is yours. I have nothing to do with your mind. Your mind and heart is yours so you should cut off yourself.
  • Then they say it is not fault of mind but your fault; because you are kantha. Because you are so much attractive, and by that we have affection to you. If you were not so affectionate and not so attractive, then naturally we would have no love for you. So this is fault to you. Why you became so beautiful and lover. And that is why aroma and heart and mind you have taken and gone to you.
  • So mind and heart is not with us and is with you. So if you want to leave us, then go, don’t go to forest by this lotus feet. So you should not go and stay with us. """
