About Srila Gurudeva

A self-realized guru in the disciplic succession of saintly masters going back to Lord Krsna Himself, Srila Maharaja is the foremost disciple of his initiating spiritual master Srila Bhakti Prajnana Kesava Gosvami Maharaja, as well as his instructing spiritual master Srila A.C. Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada, the world-renowned preacher of Krsna consciousness.

Srila Prabhupada explains
"The second-class devotee, even though he cannot support his position with sastric reference, can gradually become a first-class devotee by studying the sastras and associating with a first-class devotee. However, if the second-class devotee does not advance himself by associating with a first-class devotee, he makes no progress."

An erudite scholar of the classic books of transcendental wisdom called the Vedas, Srila Maharaja has translated thirty volumes in Hindi with his own commentaries. His works have been translated into English and other languages, and are providing hundreds of thousands of people with new life and spiritual inspiration.
